Infinix Zero 2 launches on Jumia this June [VIDEO]

The Infinix Zero 2 is finally out! Jumia has announced first in a new TV ad that the phone will be sold in their ‘Mobile Week Megathon’ special sales promotion this June.

This morning, our Pulse Tech team discovered a new TV ad by Jumia for its ‘Mobile Week Megathon’ special sales promotion ‘featuring’ the soon-to-be released Infinix Zero 2.

The promotion - which also features a number of other brands including Samsung - is officially starting on Monday, June 1, 2015. This was announced at a press conference today (May 25, 2015).

The mobile sales weeks is supposed to be the ‘biggest mobile sale’ in the history of Nigeria.

The TV advert for the promotion seems to include a scoop – with Jumia presenting the Infinix Zero 2, the ‘next hero’ from Infinix as a phone ‘featuring’ in the sales week.

The first model of the megahit phone, the Infinix Zero, was launched by Jumia’s rival in Nigeria Konga.com. This first ‘hero’ phone was a major success for Nigerian e-commerce. We at Pulse Tech expect the second to be as well.

Infinix is known to be one of the companies driving the large up-tick in smartphone usage in Nigeria over the past months. With their affordable android smartphones and successful partnership with e-commerce companies, they seem to be making big waves in the Nigerian market.
