According to the tweet, the IG has directed that a ban be placed on illegal accessing of mobile phones by men of the Nigerian Police Force in a bid to protect rights to privacy and family life.
Officers of the Nigerian Police Force have been found to access people’s mobile phones under the guise of their search of ‘Yahoo boys’ also known as Internet fraudsters.
