Telecom company drops Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage as ambassadors, picks Osuofia

The company also announced its latest list of brand ambassadors and they include: Praiz, Iyanya, Chidinma, Falz, Tekno, Skales, Saka, Nedu, Adamu Zango, and Osuofia.

Media reports confirm that MTN Nigeria has dropped Mavin Records CEO Don Jazzy as one of its ambassadors. The company has also dropped artistes Tiwa Savage and Davido from its list of ambassadors.

According to a statement released by MTN, the company says its ambassadorship package "supports Nigerian artistes by providing alternative platforms through which they can receive lucrative value for their intellectual property."

The company also announced its latest list of brand ambassadors and they include: Praiz, Iyanya, Chidinma, Falz, Tekno, Skales, Saka, Nedu, AdamuZango, and Osuofia.

“We specially thank all our former ambassadors for their immense contributions to building our brand and also making us the network of choice in Nigeria. We will definitely continue to maintain the strong and mutually beneficial relationship with them through the monetisation of their content on all our digital platforms – MTN Music+, CRBT and VAS,” she added.

As for those it has dropped, the company says it will continue to maintain a cordial relationship with them.
