Media reports confirm that the Nigerian Senate has summoned the management of MTN Nigeria Limited, their bankers and some other businessmen.
Senate summons telecom company, bankers as $13.9 billion scam drama continues
The summons is in relation to the allegation against MTN that is violated the Foreign Exchange (Monitoring and miscellaneous) Act.

The allegations were initially made by popular senator, Dino Melaye, who sought permission from the Senate president Bukola Saraki, to pursue the matter further.
The summoned parties are to appear before the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions sometime next week.
