Mobile West Africa, a leading West African tech event, is kicking off today for the sixth year, and it promises to be a great experience.

The 2016 edition of Mobile West Africa will also feature the inaugural edition of the West Africa Mobile Awards (WAMAS) which will take place at the Rooftop, Lagos.
Top practitioners in will be on hand to deliver discussion and define the future of the mobile industry in the region over the two-day period.
Some of the speakers expected at the event include Ebi Atawodi, General Manager - Lagos, Uber; Juliet Anammah, CEO, Jumia Nigeria; Mark Essien, Founder & CEO, Hotels.ng; Juliet Ehimuan-Chiazor, Nigeria Country Manager, Google; Gerry Tucker, CFO, Bango; amongst others.
I will be attending the conference starting from today and I am looking forward to all the learning and insights from all the speakers and various panels.
