The most searched stories on Google is revealed in the January trending searches. Sacrosanct also appears as the most Googled word in Nigeria in January.

Topping the list of the most searched story in Nigeria is the news of the death of Nollywood actor, Muna Obiekwe.

The Anambra State born actor and his fans in Nigeria hit Google to either confirm the news of his death, follow up on the cause of his death and know more about the reclusive actor.

Number two on the list is undefinedwhich made headlines when two Islamist gunmen invaded the weekly paper’s Paris offices and unleashed torrents of bullets, blood and death, leaving 12 dead, many more injured.

The Presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari is next on the list.
