The first episode Forbes Africa's new show features Oby Ezekwesili

The show is new to Forbes Woman Africa and it will depict the journey of some of the most influential women in West and South Africa.

A new women empowerment show from Forbes Africa called “Against All Odds with Peace Hyde” will premier on Friday, June 30, 2017, on the CNBC Africa Channel 410 on DSTV.

The show is new to Forbes Woman Africa and it will depict the journey of some of the most influential women in West and South Africa who have defied the odds to do remarkable things.

The first episode will feature Oby Ezekwesili, founder of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign and co-founder of Transparency International.

Ezekwesili will talk about the hurdles she faced faced fighting corruption in Nigeria from her early days as the co-founder of Transparency International to how she dealt with the shock and horror after finding out that 270 school girls have been kidnapped by the Boko Haram group in Chibok, Borno State.
