Digital TV station is launching in Amazon Video with five new shows

EbonyLife says it will release five drama series when it launches on Amazon.

Mo Abudu's EbonyLifeTV has announced it would be launching soon on Amazon Video which means Africans in the diaspora (who already have iROKO) will have new ways of accessing home grown content.

Users of Amazon Video have access to a library of paid-for content which users can use on demand. EbonyLife says it will release five drama series when it launched on Amazon.

The drama series the company has highlighted to kickstart its Amazon journey are On the real, The Governor, Sons of the Caliphate, Married to the game, and Dowry.

Starting February 1, 2017, EbonyLife TV content will be available for Amazon Video users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan via smartphones, tablets, game consoles, SMart TVs and the Web.

EbonlyLifeTV started life in 2013 on Multichoice's DSTV Network, broadcasting to over 49 countries.

The company has also enlisted the services of Carribean-based Flow Networks with viewers in Antigua, Barbados, Curacao, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & The Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago, Cayman Islands and The Bahamas.
