These documents are coming on the heels of the China government’s denial of the presence of such a tech team in their military.

The daily beast reports Joe McReynolds of the Center for Intelligence Research and Analysis as saying “This is the first time we’ve seen an explicit acknowledgement of the existence of China’s secretive cyber-warfare forces from the Chinese side,”

Joe also said that as a result of this document, china has come out to say “Yes, we do in fact have network attack forces, and we have teams on both the military and civilian-government sides.”

The Daily Beast also reports that the specialized military network warfare forces was setup to carry out both offensive and defense cyber operations, and other organisations like, Ministry of State Security and the Ministry of Public Security are authorized by the military to carry out network warfare operations also.
