I have been posting reports on several leaks over the past few weeks that suggest that Apple could be planning to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack on the soon-to-come iPhone 7, and now another leak (I know, they never seem to end) has surfaced further enforcing those rumors.

The photo shows what seems to look like a next-gen Apple EarPod complete with a lightning connector and it popped up on the Internet just a few hours before Apple's keynote event where the new iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro was launched yesterday.

The picture first showed up on Chinese social media network Weibo over the weekend. The picture looks legit -kind of - but in today's Photoshop age, you can never be too sure.

No matter what the rumors say right now, we will still have to wait till September when Apple launches the new phone to be completely sure if the company is indeed ditching the headphone jack.

Unless Apple releases a statement on the matter, of course, but we all know that is highly unlikely.

Let me know what you think of the whole headphone palava via the poll below and stay with Pulse Tech to keep you updated on the developments at the world's second most valuable company - Apple.
