New 4-inch iPhone 6 may be launched in 2015 - report

According to new rumours, Apple may launch a 4-inch iPhone 6 by the second quarter of 2015.

Rumours have emerged that Apple will launch a 4-inch iPhone 6 in 2015. The company in September 2014, launched iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch display and the iPhone 6 Plus with a 5.5-inch display.

Presently, Apple sells two 4-inch versions of the iPhone - the iPhone 5S and 5C, although there have been rumours that the iPhone 5C will be discontinued next year, it could possibly be replaced by a new 4 inch iPhone 6.

Now according to a recent (unconfirmed) report, Apple is planning to launch a smaller 4-inch iPhone 6 in 2015. The name of the upcoming device is still unknown. Maybe it could possibly be the iPhone 6 Mini.

The news apparently comes from Apple's supply chain in China, and this new smaller iPhone 6 handset according to the report, will be launched some time in the second half of 2015.

If Apple actually launches a 4-inch iPhone 6, then it would be sold along the iPhone 5S, which is expected to continue to be available next year, and may end up being the company's entry level device.
