Commenting on the purported suspension, an aide to the embattled Senator, Mr. Suleiman Ahmed, said “They are toeing the line of the state secretariat of the party, so our reaction is that those that wrote this letter are ignorant of the party’ constitution and they are dancing to the tune of the state executive of the party and Governor Nasir el-Rufai.”

Ahmed also said the suspension will not stop Senator Sani from making his views known, when it comes to the anti-people policies of Governor El-Rufai.

Senator Shehu Sani recently adopted orphans totalling sixty (60) in number in the Adonai Orphanage Home, Kaduna as his children.
