Thugs attack Bayelsa Governor

We advise all our supporters not to allow them- selves to be provoked by the APC and its brand of violent politics. We must preach peace at all times and maintain law and order because we are people of peace.

Governor of Bayelsa State, Hon Seriake Dickson

Reports say thugs attacked the convoy of the Governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson at the Swali Market in Yenagoa Local Government Area.

Sun Newspapers reports that the thugs were putting on All Progressives Congress (APC) uniforms.

Condemning the act, the Director of Publicity, Restoration Campaign Organisation, Jonathan Obuebite, in a statement, said “Clearly, the APC in Bayelsa State is not prepared for any election. They are prepared for war. We are a disciplined party, a peaceful party with a governor like Dickson, who came to re- store peace in the state.”
