Senate President says he’s still loyal to APC

Saraki also expressed optimism that the Muhammadu Buhari administration will fulfill all its promises to Nigerians, The Cable reports.

The Senate President reportedly made the comments on Monday, July 18, 2016, while speaking at the 10th Abuja Housing Show.

Saraki also spoke on housing challenges being faced in Nigeria saying that the national assembly believes “very strongly that we must make a difference in the housing sector”.

“I assure you that action will be taken instantaneously,” he added.

Saraki’s loyalty to the APC has been in question since he emerged Senate President on June 9, 2015, despite being expressly excluded from contesting by the party.
