Sen. Buruji Kashamu, (PDP - Ogun Central‎) says the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will resolve the ongoing crisis rocking the party in no distant time.

Kashamu spoke on Friday in Abuja on the sidelines of a media briefing to clear the air on the recent court judgement that Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff remains the party chairman.

The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) recalls that a Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday affirmed Sheriff as PDP chairman.

The court annulled a Federal High Court, Port Harcourt ruling which validated the National Caretaker Committee headed by Sen. Ahmed Makarfi.

According to Kashamu, he is not standing between two factions, but trying to resolve issues.

''I am not between two of them; I am for peace; we are trying to resolve issues.

'' Sheriff wants the party to move forward, he is an easy going man. The problem would be resolved, I am sure.‎''
