Nigeria’s Presidential and National Assembly elections held on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, 29 across the country.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged indigenes of Ogun State to vote massively as they did on Saturday, March 28.
Nigeria’s Presidential and National Assembly elections held on March 28 and 29 across the country.
Obasanjo made the calls on Saturday, April 4, during a surprise visit to Itoku Market in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
“They should do exactly what they did last Saturday,” the former President said when asked what advice he had for the traders in the market ahead of the polls.
Obasanjo however refused to support any specific political party.
The former President, who was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), exited the party in February by publicly tearing his membership card.
