The Lagos PDP also accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of manipulating the exercise.
The demand was made on Tuesday, March 31, by Lagos PDP Chairman, Tunji Shelle during a press conference.
Shelle said:
“We hereby reject outright all the established manipulated results and the concocted victory given in favour of APC in Lagos State. We demand immediate justice and the prompt cancellation of all concocted APC kangaroo victory and the immediate restoration of all genuine and untarnished results from the various polling units as nothing else will do.”
“We are protesting in the strongest terms the deliberate and unconscionable complicity of INEC officials with the APC in Lagos State to thwart and reverse the popular will of the people of Lagos State in the presidential and parliamentary elections.”
Shelle also claimed that the distribution of PVCs was “skewed in favour of the stronghold of the APC in Lagos and beyond to the detriment of PDP. Non-indigenes in Lagos were openly disenfranchised and denied the right to collect their PVCs, hence majority were unable to vote.”
APC candidate, Muhammadu Buhari beat President Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP to emerge President-elect on March 31.
