The Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba, has ordered a restriction of vehicular movement across Nigeria during the upcoming general elections.

This was revealed via a statement released on Tuesday, March 24, by police spokesperson, Emmanuel Ojukwu.
The restriction will apply on March 28 and April 11 and will commence at 8 am and end at 5 pm.

Ojukwu also said that the restriction would apply to all vehicles except ambulances, fire service trucks and others on essential duties.
