Ex-Gov's father passes on

The late Ozo, was a civil servant in the colonial era, where he worked with them to build health centres in the old Onitsha province of Eastern Region.

 

Reports Just in say the father of the former Governor of Anambra state, Senator Chris Ngige, Ozo Akunnia Pius Okonkwo Ngige  is dead.

According to Sun Newspapers, Ngige formally announced the demise of his aged father.

Ozo Akunnia Pius Okonkwo Ngige was born in 1910 in Alor, Anambra state.

Condolence messages have since poured in from party members and associates.

The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Victor Umeh also condoled with the senator.
