'Match speech with actions' - party leaders task President

Also reacting to the President’s speech, the Presidential Candidate of KOWA Party in the March 28, Presidential Election, Professor Oluremi Sonaiya said  is “touched on the vital aspects of our realities.''

The Lagos State Chairman of African Democratic Congress, Nkem Lemchi, has advised President to match his speech with actions.

He said this while on Friday, May 29 while reacting to the President’s at the Presidential Inauguration ceremony held at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

"Now that he has taken over, it is not speeches that matter rather let him hit the ground with actions and good works," Lemchi said.

Also reacting to the President’s speech, the Presidential Candidate of KOWA Party in the March 28, Presidential Election, Professor Oluremi Sonaiya said  is “touched on the vital aspects of our realities.''

"It was a great speech, touching upon the vital aspects of our realities and the challenges ahead of us.

"It is good to hear him say "I belong to everybody’’ and I think we are in for a new kind of public conduct by our leaders," Sonaiya said.

In the same vein, the National Chairman of Progressives Action Council, Chief Charles Nwodo, said Buhari touched on the "spinal cord of our challenges''.

"His speech was motivational and revolutionary in character; he touched on the spinal cord of our challenges.

"We urge all Nigerians to key into the new era of value system to uplift our nation," Nwodo said.
