Government denies assigning portfolio to ministers

Reports say the Federal Government said portfolios have not been assigned to any minister.

 

The Federal Government has reacted to a list of ministerial nominees and their portfolios, allegedly assigned by President Buhari, which surfaced on the Internet, over the weekend.

Vanguard Newspapers reports that the Federal Government said portfolios have not been assigned to any minister.

Vanguard also reports that the Special Adviser to President Mohammadu Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina, said “Any communication from the presidency must be officially singed. Was that list signed by me or Mr. Garba Shehu? Please, ignore it.”
