According to a report by Vanguard, checks around the wing of the House of Representatives revealed collapsed infrastructures that were not fixed over the two months break.
The male toilet facilities along the walkway of the "White House" housing the chambers were also reported to be a sad sight with dirty floors, stagnant water, and basins with mold growing on them.
During plenary on Tuesday, Senate President Bukola Saraki used his welcome address to speak on issues ranging from Nigeria's unity, to the review of the 2017 budget and the government's anti-corruption war.
