Agbaje was conferred with the title of “Ezi Nwanne Ndigbo 1” on Thursday, March 5, in the palace of Eze Cyril Anomneze in the Surulere area of the state.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje has been conferred with a chieftaincy title by the Ndigbo Socio-Cultural Organization in the state.

Anomneze said that Agbaje was a true friend of the Igbo people adding that “Ezi Nwanne Ndigbo means “the dearly beloved brother from another land”.

“Ndigbo will be part of the incoming administration of Agbaje in Lagos State and will work assiduously to accomplish a landslide victory for both President Goodluck Jonathan and Agbaje,” Anomneze said.

He also urged Igbos in the state to stay behind and vote in the elections instead of travelling to their villages.
