Pulse recalls that on Tuesday, the state assembly members threw caution in the wind as they physically attacked one another following the appointment of caretaker committee chairmen without due consultation with the house of assembly.
Governor Tanko Al-Makura had appointed and inaugurated sole administrators to man the affairs of the 11 local government areas in the state following the end of the two-year tenure of the incumbent their chairmen.
During the inauguration ceremony, Al-Makura assured that elections would be conducted as soon as possible.
The swearing in ceremony of the administrators held at the Conference Hall of the Government House and was attended by traditional rulers, security personnel, and members of State Executive Council.
