Ex-Presidential candidate kidnapped, abductors demand N40m ransom

The National Chairman of Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), Chief Peter Ojonugwa Ameh, confirmed the development.

National Chairman of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) and former Presidential candidate, Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima, has reportedly been kidnapped in Kogi State.

According to Vanguard, Galadima, who was the presidential flag bearer for ACPN in the last general elections, was abducted after Obajana in Osaro area of the state while on his way to Ilorin for his elder brother's funeral.

The National Chairman of Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), Chief Peter Ojonugwa Ameh, confirmed the development.

“My colleague, the National chairman and former presidential candidate of ACPN, in 2015 general election, Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima has been kidnapped”, Ameh, who is also the Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC).

He also disclosed that the kidnappers have contacted Galadima's family and demanding N40 million ransom.
