The Governor-elect of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has inaugurated a 93-man Transition Committee for the smooth take-off of his administration on May 29.

Inaugurating the committees at the Deputy Governor's Office, Ganduje urged the members to work assidiously and diligently towards the success of the incoming administration.
The committee, which comprises 8 sub-committees, is headed by Deputy Governor-elect, Prof. Hafizu Abubakar.
He said that the members were drawn from different discipline, noting that they had good track record and patriotic zeal.
According to him, the commiittees are tasked to map out a policy frame work and advise the incoming administration, to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the committee, Abubakar, thanked Ganduje for the recognition and for finding them worthy of the assignment .
He promised to work hard within the stipulated time of three weeks.
