'APC can suspend me, if I am proven to be disloyal,' deputy governor says

Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Barnabas Bala Bantex, has said that his party, the All Progressive Congress  can suspend him if found to be engaged in anti party's activities and being disloyal to the party.

Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Barnabas Bala Bantex, has said that his party, the All Progressive Congress  can suspend him if found to be engaged in anti party's activities and being disloyal to the party.

He disclosed this while fielding questions from  newsmen  at the end of  Kaduna APC Exco, elected officials and appointees meeting held in the state party secretariat.

He urged party members to be disciplined and loyal to APC at all level adding that,the party  is bigger than any member.

Bantex,the immediate past State APC chairman,said the present administration will not be distracted stressing that,governor El-rufai has embarked on checklist of projects across the state for the people.

"We are here today to work toward the party's unity in the state. We are united and we will continue to be. We are calling on APC members to keep away from things that will affect the party.

"Our governor,Mallam Nasir El-rufai and all of us are too busy implementing APC manifestos to the good people of Kaduna and we don't have time. Free feeding program is going on in public primary schools across the state,among numerous program.

"We intend to massively deal with unemployment and other issues affecting our people. We have our checklist of projects we want to implement and we are implementing it in line with our party's manifestos," he said

When asked on APC's recent  suspension of a chieftain,Bantex said: "APC is a disciplined party and if any party member goes against the party's constitution,that person will be disciplined and so shall it be.The party can suspend any member including me if found wanting in activities that are against the party's constitution" Bantex declared.
