The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is reportedly holding an important meeting in Abuja, as at the time of filing this report.

The meeting, which is said to be holding at the Rivers State governors lodge in Asokoro, is meant to decide on how strategic national offices will be shared amongst the six geopolitical zones in the country.

The offices include, Senate President and deputy, Speaker of the House of Representatives and deputy, Secretary to the government and others.

Report says President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, his deputy, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and all serving and elected APC governors are present at the meeting which is supposed to last till the early hours of Thursday, April 23.

It would be recalled that APC won the March 28 Presidential election, and in addition cleared majority of seats in both the Senate and House of Representatives.

Many Nigerians now refer to the APC as Nigeria’s current political power house.
