‘Amaechi is a pathological liar,’ PDP denies assassination claims

Fani-Kayode stated this in response to Amaechi’s claims that President Goodluck Jonathan had perfected plans to assassinate him.

The spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign organization, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that the Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi is a pathological liar.

Fani-Kayode stated this in response to Amaechi’s claims that President Goodluck Jonathan had perfected plans to assassinate him.

“This is another example of the madness that has affected the minds of the APC leaders. Amaechi is the worst of them. Not only is he deluded but he is also a pathological liar,” Fani-Kayode said.

“The president has no intention of killing him (Amaechi) and neither does he wish him dead. We would rather defeat him and his presidential candidate at the polls on Saturday and ensure that he is alive to witness it rather than kill him.The PDP are not a party of murderers and neither do they indulge in violence,” he added.

Amaechi stated that the assassination attempt against him would occur on Saturday, March 28, the date for the Presidential elections.
