‘APC will soon collapse,’ Former SGF says

Falae made the comment on Tuesday, February 3, 2016, at the secretariat of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Akure, Ondo State.

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Chief Olu Falaehas said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will soon collapse.

Falae made the comment on Tuesday, February 3, 2016, at the secretariat of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Akure, Ondo State, Punch reports.

“This mega party will soon disintegrate and all the members that came together to form it will find their ways. It is certain that what bound them together will soon disintegrate them,” he said.

“After tearing apart, the members will come back to join us and we shall accept them, as long as they are ready to abide with our rules and regulations,” he added.

Falae has been in the eye of the storm since it was revealed that he received N100 million from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Tony Anenih.

The money is believed to be part of $2.1 billion in funds which were originally meant for the procurement of arms for Nigeria’s military.

The funds are believed to have been laundered under the supervision of former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki.
