Disregard any result posted on social media –INEC says

INEC issued the statement on its Twitter timeline today, Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

 

According to the electoral body, some people had started putting up results from the Edo governorship election on the internet.

Meanwhile, there has also been reports of sporadic gunshots in some parts of Edo state by some thugs.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole also told newsmen that he is impressed at the turnout of voters for the election.
