The Senator claimed that the PDP has lost its popularity and that future elections in Cross Rivers State and in the country will always favour the APC.
In a recent rally by the All Progressive Congress (APC), Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West Senatorial district, reportedly tore the constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in public, while receiving politicians that recently decamped from the PDP.
The Senator claimed that the PDP has lost its popularity and that future elections in Cross Rivers State and in the country will always favour the APC. He also accused the PDP of being responsible for the numerous problems facing Nigeria.
“The PDP is responsible for all the problems that we are facing in Nigeria today," said the Senator.
Dino Melaye also stressed that the APC would take Nigeria to greater heights.
It was gathered that Melaye tore the party membership card of Paul Adah, the immediate past commissioners representing Cross Rivers on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, who decamped to the APC.
Present at the rally in Cross River State were the national vice chairman of the APC, in the south south, Hilliard Eta, former Senate leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, former governor of the state, Clement Ebri.
