Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaiwe, an Abuja-based Lawyer 'secretly' withdrew the suit seeking the disqualification of President Muhammadu Buhari from the 2015 Presidential Poll not possessing requisite education qualification.

The lawyer had alleged that President Buhari was not qualified to contest the 2015 presidential election as he did not sit for the Cambridge West African School Certificate Examination in 1961 as claimed.

Pulse.ng gathered that Nwokocha-Ahaiwe had filed the notice of discontinuance dated June 27, but however did not give any reason for withdrawing the case.

A source at the Federal High Court however attributed the action to recent "subtle threat" on him to withdraw the case from court.
