Honourable Essien Ekpenyong Ayi, the representative of the Bakassi/ Akpabuyo/Calabar South Federal Constituency of Cross River State, was pictured with his face in his palm as he took an obviously much-needed nap during Buhari’s presentation.

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, presented the 2016 budgetto a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.

However, the ceremony proved to be of no interest to one legislator who was sound asleep.

Honourable Essien Ekpenyong Ayi, the representative of the Bakassi/ Akpabuyo/Calabar South Federal Constituency of Cross River State, was pictured with his face in his palm as he took an obviously much-needed nap during Buhari’s presentation.

Meanwhile, the president has assured Nigerians that the 2016 budget would revive the country’s economy and lead to the creation of more jobs.

He also apologized for the ongoing fuel scarcity and assured citizens that the government was working hard to resolve the situation.
