DSS locks appropriation committee office

Jibrin levelled several allegations of fraud against the House Speaker, and also called for his resignation.

This is following the allegation by Abdulmumin Jibrin that the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara ordered the removal of workstations from the committee secretariat.

Jibrin had also alleged that there was an attempt to break into his office in the Reps building.

According to Premium Times, the DSS officials, who stormed the appropriation committee secretariat, also locked up Jibrin’s office.

There has been a lingering war of words between the Reps Speaker, Dogara, and the former chairman of the appropriation committee, Jibrin.

The ex-committee Chairman levelled several allegations of fraud against the House Speaker and also called for his resignation.

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank, has also slammed the party chairman, John Odigie Oyegun, for reportedly doing nothing to resolve the matter which he described as a disgrace.
