Benue Election APC candidate, Onjeh heads to tribunal after losing to David Mark

All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate in Benue State, Daniel Onjeh has said that he will challenge the results of the Benue South Senatorial rerun elections which held on Saturday, February 20, 2016.

Onjeh was defeated by former Senate President and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, David Mark.

The APC candidate made the announcement on Sunday, February 21, according to Leadership.

Onjeh is seeking the cancellation of Mark’s victory based on allegations of over voting and ballot box stuffing.

Mark defeated APC candidate, Daniel Onjeh to win the election after securing 84,192 votes to Onjeh’s 71,621.

Onjeh and Mark went head to head in the elections after the latter’s March 28, 2015, election victory was nullified by the Court of Appeal.
