There are reports that a former governorship aspirant in Bayelsa State threw caution into the wind and hijacked election materials.

It was further reported that confusion started when the results was in favour of the PDP in ward 9 unit 7 in Yenagoa council area.

According to a report by Vanguard Newspaper, the politician whose name was not disclosed and hails from Kpansia in Yenagoa local government allegedly hijacked election materials including results sheets.

The APC chieftain allegedly alighted from a black jeep with thugs and hijacked the election materials and forced the INEC officials to go with them.
