Governor replies Mu’azu, accuses him of disloyalty

Mu’azu, on Thursday, May 7, challenged Fayose to produce evidence that he had betrayed the PDP during the recently held general elections.

Governor Ayo Fayose has accused Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu of disloyalty after the latter criticized him via Twitter.

Fayose earlier claimed that Mu’azu had sold the PDP out to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“Disloyalty: A leader who takes to twitter to slight a party member but never did the same with or to the opponent,” the governor tweeted in response on Thursday.

“This is not the time for mudslinging but truth is never out of season. PDP Online: be assured that PDP will emerge stronger from all issues. Any strong words we have are reserved only for our opponents and only in political season. This is now the time to unite for PDP and Nigeria,” Fayose added.

Mua’zu had said:

“Fayose: I have evidence that Muazu worked for APC. We hope it's not the kind of evidence he once said he had that Buhari was dying?”

The PDP chairman also spoke of how he had warned Fayose and other party members against the hate campaign they had launched against APC candidate and now President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.

The governor and other PDP chieftains have been pressuring Mu’azu and the members of the National Working Committee to resign over the party’s loss in the elections.
