APC summons Mama Taraba over comment on Atiku

Aisha Alhassan is meeting the APC national chairman behind closed doors.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday, September 14, 2017, summoned the minister for women affairs and youth development, Aisha Alhassan for declaring her support for the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.

Alhassan who arrived the APC national secretariat in Abuja at about 1:45pm was ushered into the office of the chairman for a closed door meeting.

While Mama Taraba’s comment continues to generate mixed reactions, the minister appears to have move past the issue.

On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, Alhassan was the centre of attraction at ‘weekly’ Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

Laughing at every joke, Alhassan moved around Council chamber freely while exchanging pleasantries with her colleagues.

While some political analysts and APC chieftains have advocated for her sack, the Presidency is yet to speak on the matter.
