Achuba made the comment during a visit to Jerusalem with other pilgrims from the state.
The deputy governor said that just as the miracle of the Transfiguration happened after intensive prayers from Jesus Christ, so also will the fortunes of Kogi State turn around after the painstaking process of getting rid of ghost workers from government payroll.
According to him, Kogi state will soon witness a turnaround in all sectors of the state as government, under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello, is working round the clock to ensure the growth and development of the state. The Deputy Governor assured that once the civil service is free of ghost workers, salary will become consistent and regular as at when due.
He noted that government is also perfecting plans to simulate other sectors of the state economy. Elder Achuba expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their patience and support to the administration under the leadership of Alhaji Bello and urged them to maintain the tempo.
He expressed optimism that abundance will soon follow the economic hardship faced by Nigerians.
