President Buhari has appointed social media influencer and award winning journalist, Tolu Ogunlesi as his Special Assistant on digital media.

This is coming just after the President appointed 24 year-old Bashir Ahmad, as his Personal Assistant on New Media.

You will recall that the Award-winning journalist was accused of writing the article on The Economist, that described former President Goodluck Jonathan as “an ineffectual buffoon.”

Ogunlesi is a blogger, who has also served as a member of the Editorial Board of NEXT Newspaper.

He has also won the CNN Multichoice African Journalism Awards, twice.
