‘We were under influence during APC leader’s trial,’ CCT Chairman says

Umar made the disclosure on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the resumption of Senate President, Bukola Saraki’s trial before the tribunal.

“I want to say that in case of Bola Tinubu we were under serious influence, but we did what we had to do and discharged him. So we must be fair to ourselves not to delay this trial,” Umar said according to The Cable.

Saraki is facing charges of asset declaration fraud before the tribunal.
