The Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Danladi Umar has said that he was under serious influence while presiding over the trial of All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Bola Tinubu in 2011.

Umar made the disclosure on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the resumption of Senate President, Bukola Saraki’s trial before the tribunal.

“I want to say that in case of Bola Tinubu we were under serious influence, but we did what we had to do and discharged him. So we must be fair to ourselves not to delay this trial,” Umar said according to The Cable.
