APC national leader's media aide turns 50

According to information going round, plans are in top gear to celebrate the award winning journalist turned media aide to the National leader of the All Progressive Congress.

It was reliably gathered that come Saturday, May 28, 2016, all roads will lead to Ikoyi Baptist Church, where a thanksgiving service has been scheduled to celebrate the life of the unassuming media expert.

Born Sunday Akin Dare, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, on May 29, 1966, Dare remains one of Nigeria’s foremost journalists with extensive national and international media experience spanning over 24 years.

Before his current position as one of national leader’s trusted advisers as well as his operational right hand, Dare had transitioned into Communications, Advisory, Governance and Public Policy through his work with the Voice of America, VOA, in Washington DC, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (ICFJ Knight Fellow) and two key Media Advisory and Chief of Staff Roles.
