Bayelsa Governor cautions military personnel

Dickson said this while speaking to the new commander of Operation Delta Safe, Rear Admiral Joseph Okojie.

The Bayelsa Governor also told the officers that they should be neutral when dealing with criminal elements.

Dickson also commended the Federal Government  for situating the Headquarters of the military operations in Baylesa state.

He told the men of Operation Delta Safe that they have a crucial role to play in ensuring that the riverine areas are safe.

Okojie, the new commander of the military team, in his remarks, commended the members of Operation Pulo Shield.

He also said dialogue is the only solution to lasting peace in the region, adding that it was the collective effort of everyone in the state to work towards peace.
