Bukola Saraki

Senate President Bukola Saraki on Thursday said that the list of ministerial nominees submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari for confirmation would be read at Tuesday’s plenary in line with the traditions of the parliament.

In a statement signed by Yusuph Olaniyonuu, Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to Saraki, the President of the Senate said that the envelope containing the list would remain sealed until plenary on Tuesday.

"The list was submitted in a sealed envelope by Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari and Sen. Ita Enang, Senior SpecialAssistant to the President on Legislative Matters (Senate).

"During the plenary sitting of the upper legislative chamber, it will be opened and the list read to senators,'' he said.
