Saraki swears in Senators Abe, Sekibo and Ideozu

The Senate President also congratulated the trio and asked them to discharge their duties diligently.

Magnus Abe, George Sekibo, and Osinachukwu Ideozu, were declared as winners by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the just concluded Rivers rerun election.

Meanwhile, Senator Magnus Abe has thanked President Buhari and the Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.

Abe also said the presence of security personnel in Rivers state during the rerun that held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, made the election possible.

After the swearing in ceremony, the Upper Chambers adjourned their sitting to January 10, 2017.
