Governor Rauf Aregbesola

The Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) has denied reports that it arrested the son of Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola.

Earlier reports had it that Kabiru Aregbesola was arrested in May on allegations of money laundering.

In response however, the Acting Public Relations Officer of the NCS Murtala Muhammed Airport Command, Victor Ogagbo said, on Thursday, June 4, 2015, that the report was false.

“The report is false. We did not arrest him. People made enquiry at the time and we told them it was false,” Ogagbo said.
