PDP says Buhari cannot fight insurgency

According to the Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Babayo Garba, Buhari’s government has failed Nigerians.

This is coming after the President said that his administration's response to the abduction of students is better than that of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan when some students were also kidnapped in Chibok, Borno state, four years ago.

Buhari said this in his address during a town hall meeting with stakeholders in Yobe State on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

According to the Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Babayo Garba, Buhari’s government has failed Nigerians.

Garba also said “In fact no Nigerian ordinarily can take APC seriously any more, especially in their rumoured move to recontest election ahead of 2019. What will they tell people again?”

Amended electoral act

Also, the PDP criticised President Buhari for rejecting the electoral act amendment recently passed by the National Assembly.

Buhari rejected it on the premise that the amendment may infringe on the constitutionally guaranteed right of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
