Prof Osinbajo’s lecture, which will be delivered on March 27 at the Centre International De Conférences Abdou Diouf, is entitled “Repositioning Nigeria in a Changing World”.

He said “We are honoured and excited that the Vice President will be the guest speaker of the Adedeji lecture series this year to share with us how his government is repositioning Nigeria in the fast-changing world we live in today.”

The ECA inaugurated the Annual Adebayo Adedeji Lecture series in March 2014 in Abuja, during the seventh Joint Annual Meetings of the AU Conference of Ministers of Economy and Finance and ECA Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.

The lecture series honour and recognise the intellectual contributions to development, service to Africa and humanity by Prof. Adebayo Adedeji, an unrepentant believer in African integration and development.

Adedeji has had a distinguished academic, political and diplomatic career in service to Africa.

Each year, the lecture series features prominent scholars and personalities who have, in one way or another, contributed to the development of Africa.
