Acting President meets Igbo traditional rulers over quit notice

Osinbajo reportedly told the stakeholders at the meeting that both the Igbo quit notice and Biafra agitation are unconstitutional.

The northerners had given the Igbos living in the north till October 1, 2017, to return to their Biafra land.

According to Punch, the meeting is holding behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Speaking at the meeting before it entered a closed session, Osinbajo was said to have established that both the position of the Northern youths and the Igbos calling for the Republic of Biafra are against Nigeria's Constitution.

He added that many people had laid down their lives for the country's unity.
